CONSORT Consulting Group is one of the oldest and most authoritative players on the Russian human resources (HR) and search services market. Established in 1992, the Group is a co-founder of the Association of Personnel Search Consultants (APSC) and the exclusive representative for Russia and CIS of the International Executive Search Federation (IESF), the largest global network of independent consultants in the executive search industry.
In terms of business volume, the Group currently ranks 50th among the Top 100 consulting firms in Russia, not only in HR and recruitment services, but also in other spheres. It is therefore not surprising that clients repeatedly place the Group among the market leaders in terms of quality of provided services. Clients are attracted by the Group’s unprecedented concept of providing quality services at all professional levels and in all segments. It is very convenient because you can get a wide range of specialized services in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions based on a single contract signed with the Group. Besides, the Group has a wealth of unique experience of working in very specific market segments and extensive expertise in working with state-owned enterprises.
Over the past few years the Group has demonstrated higher-than-market growth rates. For example, business grew by 42% in 2007, and this year, we also aim for a 30 to 40% increase. A new company called Consort Staff Selection, that was set up in St. Petersburg less than a year ago, is now steadily and successfully growing, and between August and September, we plan to open two new companies — Consort Siberia, which will cover Western and Eastern Siberia, and Consort Krasnodar, which will operate in Southern Russia.
The Group’s major goal for 2008-09 is the creation of a network of partner offices in key regions of Russia and CIS. In Moscow, we have launched Graduate Recruitment Program, which envisages working with university graduates, a practice that we plan to extend to all of our regional offices. The next step will be to create a complete “vertical” spectrum of HR and personnel search services in each of our regional centers, ranging from executive search to working with graduate students.
